Samsung Note 4 power saving mode problem

I am using Samsung Note 4. When I turn to power saving mode I cannot get back to normal mode. I don't know what to do. Recently I've updated to the latest version. Can you please help me to switch it to its original settings.

Linux fails to mount Android device in USB MSC mode

I wish to mount my Sony Xperia ST21i (Android 4.0.4) under Linux (Debian) via USB. However, I get this error:

What I did so far:

On the phone side: Settings > Xperia > Connectivity > USB connection mode: set to Mass storage mode (MSC), instead of the default Media transfer mode (MTP).

Several lines more - is this significant? Does this mean, I need to configure my phone differently before I can hope to mount it?

Following advice in some related threads, I created an udev rule,

# cat /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", SYSFS{idVendor}=="0fce", MODE="0666"

but this had no effect.

This question has been answered by @derobert at https://unix.stackexchange.com/q/90069/46841: MSC mode only works for accessing a memory card, which I do not have; for accessing the phone's own file system, I need another access mode.

charging from power outlet or computer? to save battery lifetime

I realized that charging my HTC Desire (Android 2.1) takes longer if connected to computer compare to power outlet.

Does it matter which method I use to charge in terms of battery life time?

No, the battery doesn't care how it got charged in terms of a given charge. It just takes longer when using your PC because it's getting less current from the PC than the AC charger.

Here's a post on android forums which suggests that the current coming from the PC is significantly less than the AC charger. The forum posts list 100mA or 500mA for the PC's USB port vs. 1000mA from the AC charger; these numbers could be off but the point is correct. I also found this regarding the same phenomenon with the iPhone 4.

So using the AC charger is just a matter of whether you want the phone to charge quicker or not.

Since I don't have access to PC, tried the second method and it worked. Chrome now opens in default desktop mode ( Moto X Play, 6.0.1, Chrome 52.0. 2743.91)

samsung galaxy s 3 - Why is Music Player deleting my music?

I recently installed a new SD card in my phone, so I moved all of my music from my phone to my SD. After I moved my music, I noticed that all of my soundtracks were corrupted. Each of them only had about 5 songs and I couldn't play them. I followed the instructions here, deleted my Music Player's application data, restarted my phone, etc., and then my soundtracks were completely gone.

Alright, something must have happened during the copy right? So I copy my soundtracks back to my phone, try to open them in my file browser, and it says:

Sorry, the player does not support this type of audio file

For mp3s that I was playing just yesterday.

So I restart my phone again, and what happens? My files aren't even there. Soundtrack folder is empty.

Anyone have any thoughts on what's going on?

That sounds like a bad SD Card. Insist doing that over and over again, with sound files and movie files as well.

How do i install firmware or recovery menu when android smartphone reboots every 5 seconds?

I tried to install TWRP to TP-LINK Neffos C5A and phone started to reload every 5 seconds. Now i just want it to work.

So, i tried to enter some menu (Volume UP + Power, Volume DOWN + Power, Volume UP + Volume DOWN + Power) and nothing happened. Phone keeps reloading. I was trying to install new(or default) recovery using fastboot, also i have tried SP Flash Tool.

When i got Official Rom there was invalid scatter file... Neffos tech support said that this ROM can be installed only by using "boot loader" but as you can see - there is no way to use it...

I expected to have working TWRP recovery on it, now i just want it to work.

It seems like the Samsung Galaxy S is notorious for its occasional lag. Various lag fixes are out, but most of them require me to root my phone.

I am reluctant to void the warranty on my phone, so I would like to avoid rooting it if possible.

Yes

You can lagfix without rooting by flashing a kernel like Voodoo through Odin.

But

This will void your warranty anyways.

If it helps, the SGS phones are very easy to unroot and revert to stock to hide what you did.
