sim card - HTC Desire S - Number Unknown Is Shown?

My question is similar to this one, however what would be appropriate solution for HTC Desire S device because it does not allow you to change your phone number on SIM card like Samsung Galaxy does? Here is what it looks like on my phone (sorry for bad focus):
